Our Story

For 70 years, JRA has created high-quality architectural designs which reflect a dedication to clients, community, and creativity. The company, launched in 1946 by Ernst Johnson, AIA, still maintains the same standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail on which the company was founded.

The nature of our work is conversational and comfortable. Our teams in Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky work collaboratively with clients to create designs that aren’t just functional and practical, but also beautiful and inspiring.
