Cementing Banking Relationships

Wilson & Muir Bank Padgett Street

Wilson & Muir Bank Padgett Street

In the banking industry, relationships are everything. Wilson & Muir, as the third oldest banking company in Kentucky with roots to the 1800s, has no lack of experience in creating enduring connections with customers. An important part of establishing Wilson & Muir’s customer loyalty is the banking experience it provides, and that journey begins with the banking facilities themselves. When the bank decided to make a better experience for its Bardstown market, they turned to JRA Architects to help make that vision a reality.

By establishing a set of architectural criteria with a focus on customer experience, we were able to ensure our decisions during the planning and design phase were made to help maximize the bank’s relationships with its clientele. The layout of the space was designed to make banking fast and efficient, a critical component of a successful banking experience, while the aesthetic appeal provides a sense of openness, comfort and warmth - all important characteristics in ensuring return visits.

JRA’s experience in the financial services sector and Wilson & Muir’s rich banking history made this a true collaboration of experts resulting in a better banking environment that has helped cement the bank’s existing customer relationships.
