First Citizens Bank Ring Road Branch

First Citizens Bank Ring Road Branch

Customer experience is critical to any retail space, and that tenet rings just as true for the banking business. As First Citizens Bank began to expand its footprint in Central Kentucky, JRA Architects was selected to help bring that welcoming experience to the bank’s new branches including one in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

This new branch is a one-story banking facility featuring a welcoming lobby and customer-service areas, spaces for the branch manager and new accounts and loan officers. The exterior walls are made with a combination of face brick and cast stone to create visual “curb appeal” through textural contrasts. The drive-through is designed for three cars—including one ATM lane—allowing for maximum customer convenience and increased efficiency. Finishes within the space include vinyl composition tile, ceramic tile, carpeting, and suspended acoustic panel ceilings for improved interior sound. JRA also facilitated the addition of walkways, curbs, a new parking area, storm water lines, and landscaping that complements the architecture.

JRA has deep experience in working with financial services companies throughout our proud history and remains honored to play a role in creating great customer experiences in many of First Citizens Bank’s locations.
