Ron Peron brings over 25 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry to JRA Architects. With a background as a licensed Professional and Structural Engineer, Ron transitioned fully into architectural practice after running his own engineering and residential design firms. Since joining JRA in 2022, he has played a key role in project coordination, quality control, and construction administration across a wide range of building types.

Ron’s technical expertise and interdisciplinary experience make him a valuable asset throughout all phases of design. He is especially passionate about creating meaningful spaces, with a focus on light, material, and the user experience. His attention to detail, love of coordination, and hands-on approach support both design innovation and project efficiency. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia, where he also concentrated in architecture. He will retire his engineering license in 2025 to focus fully on architecture.

Outside the office, Ron enjoys golf, hiking, cooking, and exploring new cultures. A native of New York, he now lives in Louisville with his wife and daughter
